Real Club de Golf Campoamor
This golf course has been challenging experienced golfers since 1988, when it was inaugurated by SARD Juan de Borbón, Count of Barcelona, under the name of Real Club de Golf Campoamor. In his honour, a championship is held here every August, bearing his name. The course grew out of the wild beauty of the Dehesa de Campoamor between two interconnected valleys surrounded by small hills. It is these that protect it from the wind, creating a microclimate that makes it possible to play golf at any time of the year. The 6,277-metre, par 72 course is meticulously maintained to the highest quality standards, which is enhanced by the lush local vegetation and fauna.
Las Ramblas Golf
Las Ramblas Golf Club is a hidden gem just a few kilometres from the Costa Blanca. This unique, unforgettable 18-hole course in hilly terrain, designed by the renowned "Golf Picasso" Pepe Gancedo, boasts the perfect blend of challenging design and breathtaking natural beauty with views of the Mediterranean Sea. Las Ramblas literally means "the dry ravines", which characterises the layout of the course - it is set in an undulating pine grove with natural ravines and water bodies, fast greens and narrow fairways, making it - together with the inviting restaurant and terrace - a true golfer's paradise.
Lo Romero Golf
The Lo Romero Golf Resort in Pilar de la Horadada, known as the "golf island", enjoys an exceptional location close to the beaches. With its iconic 18th hole, whose green is surrounded by water, it provides players with an exciting and unforgettable experience. The par 72 course perfectly combines natural beauty, technical difficulty and enjoyment of the game. The undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers and wide greens will enchant players of all levels. Only the rustling of the Mediterranean pine branches and the movement of squirrels in the branches will disturb players from the tranquil atmosphere on the site of a former pear and apple orchard.
Villamartín Golf Club
In the province of Alicante, it is one of the most famous courses also because it was the venue of the 1994 Mediterranean Open, which was won by Jose Maria Olazabal after a play-off with Paul McGinley. The course was designed by legendary architect Robert Dean Puttman to take full advantage of the natural undulating terrain with olive trees lining the fairways and elevated tees with picturesque panoramic views. This smaller course at the southernmost tip of the Costa Blanca offers a circuit for golfers of all levels, as it requires the use of all clubs in the bag. The local greens are superbly designed and attract major tournaments. Well rooted and mature vegetation over 35 years old provides a beautiful backdrop to this golf course.
Golf Vistabella
The translation of the name from Catalan (two ll's read as j) only confirms the beautiful view of the course, dominated by three majestic pine trees, the symbol of the course, which look down on the players from almost every corner of this unique scenery. Vistabella, near La Finca, is not just a golf course, but a place where nature is combined with the respectful use of its resources, spread over more than 40 hectares of unique landscape, full of native Mediterranean trees and shrubs. It was designed by Manuel Piñero, a former European Tour and World Cup golfer, Dunhill Golf Cup and Ryder Cup representative of Spain. He wanted the 18 varied par 72 holes to suit the modern style of play and all levels of player.
La Finca Golf
The golf resort with an exceptional climate near Algorfa is one of the most famous resorts in south-eastern Spain and a favourite with golf enthusiasts. Since its opening in 2002, it has been the venue for several prestigious tournaments such as the European Junior Championship and the Spanish Junior Championship. The 18-hole course has wide and generous fairways with spectacular and unique greens that allow the golfer to use the driver regardless of his handicap. The beautiful surrounding scenery makes the golf course one of the best in Spain.
